We sailed into Hobart on 23 December and spent the day visiting the nearby beautiful Georgina town on Richmond, and Hobart Botanical Gardens, looking wonderful in the mid-Summer sunshine.

After circumnavigating Tasmania we sailed back into Hobart in time for the New Year's Eve fireworks which were let off right by our ship to deafening effect. On New Year's Day we visited the Museum of Old and New Art which is quite over-whelming.
